Performers

If you’re looking for a schedule, you won’t find one here! Since the very beginning, keeping the performers a secret has been our favourite tradition. The mystery is the magic. What we can tell you is that we have two dedicated stages packed with incredible acts. From the moment you arrive, just let the night take over, because out here, absolutely anything can happen.

Vendors

We’ve got over 60 vendors moving into the streets, bringing everything from delicious eats to brilliant local art. Because the list is massive and keeps evolving right up to event day, we don’t publish a formal vendor guide. Instead, we’re letting the vendors speak for themselves! Make sure you’re following our social accounts—we’ll be resharing tons of vendor spotlights and previews as July 18th gets closer.

Drinks

Thirsty? We’ve got you covered with five bars strategically placed throughout the event site. You can find them all on the site map below.

  • Payment: We make it easy, all our bars accept cash, credit, and debit directly at the counter.

Festival Guidelines

Keeping the Bazaar Green

To help us keep our streets beautiful, please use the designated recycling and garbage bins provided by our partners at JTR throughout the site.

Most importantly, let’s be great guests uptown. Please dispose of your trash properly and treat our neighbourhood—and the folks who live here—with the respect they deserve. Let’s leave the streets even cleaner than we found them!

Drones & Aerial Photography

No Drone Zone: The Moonlight Bazaar is an “advertised event,” which means strictly no unauthorized drone flights are permitted over or within 30 metres (100 feet) of the event site.

Under current Transport Canada regulations, this rule applies to all drones, including micro-drones under 250g. Flying at an advertised event without the required Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC-RPAS) is a serious violation that carries significant penalties:

We take the safety and privacy of our guests and neighbours very seriously. Please keep your drones grounded so we can all enjoy the magic of the festival safely!

Logistics & Tips

Getting Here & Parking

Parking Your Ride: The Moonlight Bazaar does not provide event-specific parking, but you’ll find plenty of options throughout the Uptown area. We recommend utilizing one of the city’s three main indoor parking garages for easy, stress-free access:

  • Market Square Parking Garage
  • Peel Plaza Parking Garage
  • Brunswick Square Parking Garage

Pro-Tip for Uptown Parking: On-street parking in Saint John is free on weekends, holidays, and after 6:00 PM on weekdays.

Need more info? For detailed maps, transit routes, and a full breakdown of parking inventory, visit the Uptown Saint John Parking Guide. We encourage you to explore the city, leave the car in a garage, and enjoy the stroll to the Bazaar!

Pro-Tips for a Perfect Night

  • Dress for Success: Wear your most comfortable dancing shoes—you’re going to be on your feet all night! Keep an eye on the forecast, stay hydrated, and dress for the summer heat.
  • Cash is King: While some vendors may take cards, cash is the fastest way to keep lines moving at your favourite market stalls. There are several major bank branches located right in the uptown core if you need to hit an ATM before you arrive.
  • Leave No Trace (And Love the Neighbourhood): We’re lucky to host the Bazaar in the heart of our beautiful city. Please be respectful of the event site and surrounding areas before, during, and after the party. Let’s make sure we leave the streets just as vibrant as we found them!
  • Paws Off the Dance Floor: While we absolutely love your four-legged friends, please consider leaving your pets at home. Between the loud music and the big crowds, the festival environment can be overwhelming for our furry companions.

Our Mission

Moonlight Bazaar is an unconventional street festival that celebrates creativity by blending music, food, art, and live performances under the light of a 7-metre inflatable Moon and Mars. By transforming the Uptown Saint John city into something unforgettable for one night, we bring communities together while supporting local businesses.
